About Phi Mu
Phi Mu is a women's organization which promotes personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition.
Phi Mu promotes vibrant living encouraging members to achieve their personal best. Phi Mu is a well established national organization with a rich history. Phi Mu has 121 collegiate chapters and more than 150 alumnae organizations across the country.
Our chapter at Cornell University will be Phi Mu's first chapter at an Ivy League institution!
Our colors are rose and white, our mascot is the lion and our symbol is the quatrefoil.
Phi Mu supports Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as our national philanthropy. Phi Mu has raised more than $13 million dollars for 170 Children's Hospitals nationwide. The money that our chapters raise for CMNH stays local to benefit the children in each community. The Phi Xi Chapter at Cornell will support the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse. In addition to supporting CMNH, Phi Xi will engage in community service projects, support local philanthropies and participate in the philanthropy projects for other Greek organizations at Cornell.
Phi Mu's member experience is based on the three guiding principles of our creed, Love, Honor and Truth and our 4 values of Character Building, Leadership Development Community Service and Sisterhood.
